Before you take your photo
For the best chance of verifying on the first try:
- Use a well-lit place and avoid bright light behind you.
- Clean the camera lens and hold your device at eye level.
- Remove hats, masks and sunglasses; avoid glare on glasses.
- Keep your full face inside the oval and hold still.
Your live photo is sent for NIA identity verification. The camera starts only after
you continue, and audio is never requested.
